July 11th, 2022
Charlotte – Jeff Jackson, Democratic nominee in North Carolina’s 14th Congressional District, spoke to a crowd of more than 500 people on Saturday afternoon at Lenny Boy Brewing. The crowd came fired up and ready to support Jackson in November’s election.
The event kicked off Jackson’s general election campaign and shows the incredible grassroots support behind his candidacy.
“North Carolinians are tired of politics as usual, and it’s my personal commitment to them that I will always be accessible to our community to come together, recharge, and talk about the issues that matter,” said Jeff Jackson. “Whether it’s protecting a woman’s right to choose, affordable housing, political polarization, or voting rights, North Carolinians can trust that I’ll always listen and bring their voices to Congress this November.”
Jackson also introduced three guest speakers, all women who are running for office in Mecklenburg County: State Rep. Rachel Hunt, running to replace Sen. Jackson in the state Senate, former state Rep. Christy Clark, running for state House, and Stephanie Hand, candidate for Charlotte City Council in District 6.
